The first point is simply incorrect. Either that or you are lying. 40% of fires are started 'intentionally' but even this ISN'T ARSON. An example of a recent intentional fire as per The Australian was a man illegally back burning to protect a cannabis crop

They all cite the same statistic, from the AIC, which includes 'suspicious' fires - not all demonstrated to be intentional. And as the example I posted demonstrates, 'intentional' does not equal arson
