Sure, but if you're a funding body looking at saving money on diabetes care (say a US insurer), Virta has a very large cost compared to other options Not surprising - they are a private company after all - but I don't think unfair to say they're pricey

If Virta loses out to even more effective & cost-efficient options, so be it. What I expect we’ll see instead for many years to come is more of the same—drugs & dubious guidelines. Hope I’m wrong.
