Damn, and here I was thinking it was Big Houseplant, trying to scam me into buying more African Violets that will die from negligence every few months
I wish Mitsubishi would also fund my hobby projects :((
Those plants that attract miscellaneous bugs, drop leaves and get in the way on my ever decreasing desk space? I think my evaluation is just as valid as theirs.
Don't attribute to conflict of interest that which can just as readily be explained by whatever the hell happened here.
They do however have employees in offices and now they can cheaply say they have done something for mental health by buying houseplants!!
But they do make HVAC equipment and in the world of architecture, any “green” cred is used to sell stuff. Many big companies are “sponsoring” research that is complete crap and done at places like Harvard’s Chan School and even Mayo which has a Mitsubishi competitor as patron.
They must make plastic ones, which are much less stressful to care for. Also, how many "houseplants" are cannabis?
