It's perhaps possible that you'd get peripheral neuropathy from a vegan diet, but I'm going to guess that the rates are MUCH lower than in the general community

Well no. Because there is no B12 in a vegan diet.

Sure, but it's easily supplemented and you can get fortified foods. I'd also guess that vegans have much lower rates of peripheral neuropathy than the general pop, because the incidence of diabetes is far lower

Also, iodine and long chain n3 fatty acids are likely to be deficient. It is not a complete diet without supplements.
