Doing a systematic review into dropout rates in RCTs and observational research is a fascinating window into how rarely/poorly dropout is actually reported in a lot of clinical research

Most studies don't explicitly report dropouts, just the number of patients who they could get data for at the end. A big chunk of research doesn't even report that! Absurd

In unrelated news, preliminary results seem to indicate that around 50% of all people who use chronic disease applications stop using them pretty quickly
