I feel...like any study like this would like involve a decently complex model to account for confounders etc... And, I mean, a control group.
It's interventional, so imo confounders aren't that important, but with no control group it's basically meaningless
Pretty wild that this sort of thing makes it into such a renowned journal
This is what happens when people disregard the fact that actual skills are required in study design, data analysis, and statistics
