The problem is, to lose ~2kg over 6 months you can either diet a little bit or exercise hours more per week

this is my lived experience. Been to the gym best part of a year and have lost.... nothing! Given I did nothing beforehand and spent most of my day sitting at a desk, expected it would drop off. Disappointing
