I was referring to vaccine science there, but I do think it raises a good point - do you think every disagreement in nutrition is as big a divide as the recent row over meat?

I think any guidance that can be traced back the the (US) 1977 Dietary Goals/1980 DGA - except "maintain a healthy weight" & "eat a variety of foods" - qualifies. But animal-sourced foods vs. eat plants is by far the biggest bc of strong political/ideological roots attached.
