we are merely making the point that mining can prosper under a transition to clean energy, including some demand for coking coal. It’s important that people understand that traditional industries can benefit from the transition.

That's actually a contradiction in terms. The transition by definition involves reducing or shutting down these industries The *workers* can, perhaps, benefit - although I can't see any discussion of this in Labor's rhetoric - but that's a different issue entirely
