To put it another way, do we care more about harm reduction, or what we think of as the correct way to do things?
You don't want people harming themselves, but you are comfortable refusing them effective treatment?
Something there doesn't track. Perhaps it is simply your preconceptions that are getting in the way

Describing it as "poison and mutilation" is a ridiculous and dishonest tactic, but this is getting old. As I said, look up harm reduction and perhaps reexamine your biases
