1 out of 2 women will develop cancer, and 1 out of 3 men. But please continue to believe that everything is safe and not question the impact that food can have: "California jury hits Bayer with $2 billion award in Roundup cancer trial" https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/us/california-jury-hits-bayer-with-dollar2-billion-award-in-roundup-cancer-trial/ar-AABjf7X?li=BBnbcA1 … https://twitter.com/GidMK/status/1184201179317719040 …

Lifetime risks of cancer say nothing about the causality of a specific herbicide, and the rest is an absurd straw man of my position. No one would say that food has no impact on health nor that everything is safe

Why would they award 2 billion then? Let's just agree to disagree.

Juries do a lot of things that I disagree with, doesn't really speak to the scientific evidence at all. Why would the CDC, EFSA, AVMPA, etc all determine that glyphosate was safe if it wasn't? Can agree to disagree on questions of opinion, not so much on facts 👍

Because major organizations have proven to be wrong about mostly everything, except for the fact that smoking is bad for you. Organizations are not concerned about health, but about profit. There are conflicts of interest. I know we won't agree on anything and I am okay with that

I mean, there are literally thousands of things the CDC gives recommendations on, from treatment of HIV to safe intakes of drugs in pregnancy. You think everything that they say is wrong?

Generally, I find that what I have found to be true, varies drastically from major organizations. Of course not everything, but enough.

That's a weird blanket statement. How about this - the CDC has a series of recommendations regarding HIV prevention (including during pregnancy). Wrong? https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/basics/prevention.html …

And that's not even talking about the other regulatory agencies (i.e. EFSA), most of whom conduct their own studies and assessments which are usually extremely rigorous
