Another interpretation of these studies is ketogenic diet is equally effective for weight loss & should be welcomed as another approach. Others use speculation to dissuade, plant seed of doubt, or reaffirm their own (or organization’s) bias on what is the best diet.

Indeed. I think there's quite strong evidence that most 'diets' have very similar weight loss outcomes, and are mostly similar generally
