Another example - I used to call people "moronic" a lot, which wasn't great "ignorant" is generally much better - you're not stigmatizing anyone, and there's no moral judgments involved (there are many good reasons to be ignorant)

I hate the twisting of words. Idiot literally translates into “not knowing”...which is pretty clear what it means. societal morphing of words into slurs has been a cultural thing for centuries. the C word has the same root as the word break. 1/2

I am not sure anything of this follows. The impact of a word is just subjective to both the speaker and recipient. There is no objective. Once the recipient determines the intent it is a wash.
