Lol. Actually it’s not so much the standards of evidence but the standard of interpretation. Want to use something you observed in practice as evidence? Fine. Just be mindful of the biases impacting on these type of ‘data’ & how much confidence you put in it. B/c false hope.

Yeh 99% of this whole red meat thing is about interpretation rather than science - the studies themselves were pretty well done, it's what the authors used them for that's the crux of the dispute
