TWITTER peeps! Please help me convince my friend to give her 1st year daughter the #HPVvaccine
She’s considering not giving it and has asked for advice. Looking for links I can send her, other than the HSE one. @ciarakellydoc @rowley_dominic @doireannod #VaccinesSaveLives

Speaking to the HSE is always a good idea. And of course following
@laura_jbrennan's wonderful dedication so girls like your friends daughter are protected. Her family are continuing her story today. I hope your friend decides to vaccinate.3 replies 0 retweets 7 likes -

I myself have been diagnosed with CIN1 due to HPV and I am hoping to make any difference I can. We can stop so many stories. Minor like mine or far more tragic. I wish you luck!

it's unfortunate that the HPV vaccine is increasing the incidence of CIN and has been shown to cause cancer.pic.twitter.com/xMkLYmJ6vJ

That's not actually what that table shows. Firstly, the confidence interval includes a large benefit from the vaccine as well as a modest detriment. Secondly, the main point of the table is identifying that the vaccine is less effective in people WHO ALREADY HAVE HPV

This is in a subgroup of individuals who were already seropositive AND PCR positive for HPV when vaccinated - unsurprisingly, those who had HPV prior to vaccination did not see a reduced risk of getting HPV from vaccination

that's a deception that I hear parroted on a daily basis- there was harm done in the form of more cancer, CIN 2 and 3 in infected women.

No that's literally what the table is reporting. That's what the text above the table says. That's what "who were seropositive and PCR..." means

Gardasil harmed these women, that's what this table shows. you're claiming HPV infection is rampant to justify this vaccine and simultaneously igoring the rampant infection. it's unethical.

No, you're literally just misreading the table. Do you know what seropositive and PCR positive for HPV means?
