People need to stop shaming hospitals for giving patients "unhealthy" food: 1. Food can be very disease-specific 2. Hospitals are full of very sick people who deserve a break from caring about anything other than getting better

Yes. Hospital patients are at the mercy of whatever is served. They can't leave their beds & go find an alternative. If they're very lucky, or they have frequent & obliging visitors, they'll manage OK. If not... I'm not at all surprised that many just stop eating. I did. >

I would love a high-profile chef to get involved in the cause. Camille & I once tagged Jamie Oliver & Stephanie Alexander into our Twitter convo about bad hospital food, but never got a response from either of them.
