Tried low-carb for a while but it wasn't for me. Lost about 15Kg but put it back on pretty quickly. Eventually managed to keep it off with basic caloric restriction, but I'm toying with trying low-carb again

Nope, I lost most of my weight in 2011-12 when I didn't have a smartphone lol. These days I mostly just restrict calories with portion control and hit the gym 5-6 times a week

Lol great minds. Agreed. Low carb is a start but until you go fully zerocarb you won’t really get the difference.

Glad it's worked so well for you, but so far calorie restriction has worked really well for me (30Kg down) so not sure if I want to do anything else. I'm sure lots of eating patterns could help, but I like where I am anyway

Yep, but if we're talking about me personally I'm well within normal for all of my biometric parameters so atm it's mostly about losing the last kilo or two of belly fat

Normal of biometric parameters? That’s not really saying much considering how low the normal has dropped. How do you personally feel? Bloating? Heartburn? Enough energy? Clear of brain fog?

Yes to all! I'm actually in the best health of my life so far, it's pretty grand. Last time I felt bloated was when I had 15 deep-fried chicken wings and a bunch of beer
