Worth noting, as the ABS does, that this growth in inequality has slowed since 2014, with only a very modest increase since then (although this depends on which measure you use)

Not impossible, but if so you'd expect good decision-makers to become rich regardless of social standing, but instead we see people largely limited by the income of their parents. Look up the Gini coefficient
