Here's a thought - if you test a dozen things in your study, and most of them are negative, it's intellectually dishonest to pick out the one positive finding and parade it as if it's enormously important

(Unless, of course, you pre-registered the trial and that was your a priori primary outcome, in which case it's not ideal but also not that big an issue)
