I read the original paper and think it is quite good. (They even adjusted for small area sampling.) The finding for solvents need to be replicated in a bigger study - the authors themselves suggest that in the paper. https://oem.bmj.com/content/early/2019/06/03/oemed-2018-105395 …
Pretty much, although I'd argue that their discussion should've talked a lot more about how their study conflicted with existing literature and/or demonstrated no effects for most exposures and only very marginal ones for solvents
Sorry to disagree, this one does not fit in the good science category, it relied on self reported exposure- which in some cases was reported by a spouse not even the person themselves. Multiple other problems, no significance then that they report as being a meaningful finding.
