Usually this means that the books pick and choose studies, or report them as fact when in reality the question is far from settled Sometimes it makes them outright wrong

I'm not saying pop sci books are bad, because they can be amazing reads. Just take anything you read with a pinch of salt, because often the facts are much more complex than the lovely story you've read

For every PhD, there's an opposing PhD. It's the same with all science. Why pick on popsci?
