Ginger has very limited evidence as a treatment for anything That being said, just eat more Indian food it's delicious and probably better than what you're eating nowhttps://twitter.com/ClevelandClinic/status/1142127289766830081 …

It's a problem when people without research degrees, and who aren't trained in reading and analysing scientific research, make these type of claims.

So they’ve moved on from turmeric to ginger. Hopefully once they get through the entire spice rack they’ll flock off and leave us in peace.

Ginger tea is delicious and makes a satisfying substitute for alcohol. Not magic, though.

Stan not trying to troll but scepticism is blinding you to real evidince. Ginger does have proven benefits, and I dont see this site as selling anything other than American private health services. Healthy nutrition is a necessary part of all medicine, including psychology.

I love ginger in hot tea and basically ginger in any dishes or desserts. Ginger candy did seem to help my sea sickness(n=1) similarly to OTC products.

While there are studies finding that ginger has some clinical efficacy (e.g., https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6341159/ …), the benefits are often oversold. A "super spice"? Nah. Also, there is absolutely no doubt that the @ClevelandClinic has become a purveyor of woo. Hugely disappointing.
