Interestingly, I'm looking into this as part of my PhD, and the current best estimates for attrition in health apps is very high

Like, they may want you to keep using them, but from the few real-world estimates I've been able to find, less than 10% of people actually do

I believe it! So many apps out there to switch to when you get bored, and so many of them kinda suck anyway. But they try so hard. Reminds me of how every business now wants you to sign up for a subscription, instead of selling you a thing once.

Yeh so many of them try hundreds of different things while being exactly the same. It's a bit sad
