Actually when we're talking about remedies for the common cold, many of the treatments have been investigated and found to be ineffective (i.e. echinacea, vit c, elderberries)

There have been a lot of studies that suggest there may be a small benefit but there are also a lot of issues with many studies. If you’re referring to a specific review of the science then I’d like to see that.

My point is simply that patients are going to make their own decisions, especially ones who are more prone to illness or dealing with chronic illness so specific information is better for them than general dismissal of something.
