There's some data on green tea and weight loss. Which is why I make sure to have green tea frappucinos and ice cream every day.

I am asking honestly, because I respect your analyses: I feel as though I have read research on the health benefits of green tea... Did I miss something?

There are about 15 RCTs on the topic, most of them not great. A 2012 Cochrane review found that it was unlikely that green tea offered any benefit for weight loss, and three SRs since have come to similar conclusions
