Perhaps because one focused on CVD, while other looked at overall mortality. CVD and mortality data dont always end up exactly same. Still, you're right the endless nutr epi research confuses most of public. In reality, we'll prob never have a clear answer on coffee and health.
You're right it's entirely possible the difference was due to the endpoints, but the conclusions are still amazingly contradictory
I don't think "exact opposite" means what you think it means. Isn't one of those specifically about CVD and the other about dying generally?
