Either/both. I think plural possessive would apply generally, but the statistical likelihood that one has been built and issued by a single womb probably drags one to singular possessive. (I drive a forklift for work, so who knows)

Looking at how it is referred to in various promotions etc.-Mother’s Day seems to be the one most commonly used. Mostly, it seems that the “dedication” and all comments are aimed at individuals not collective group. Thus: “What are you giving your mother on Mother’s Day”.
