I rarely have any appetite until at least 3-4 hours after I wake up. Most days I only have two meals: brunch/lunch, and dinner. I hate it when I'll be busy all morning with no chance to eat before about 1-2pm. Forcing down a breakfast I don't want at 7 or 8am is very difficult.

Totally agree, their conclusions were faulty. Lower socioeconomic status & numerous other CV risk factors are associated w skipping breakfast, not the other way around, I suspect.
