I get very frustrated with the GMO debate. Everyone's so dug in. So lemme ask, if you're generally pro-GMO, what's the biggest shortcoming of those crops? If you're generally anti, what's the biggest plus?

The biggest shortcoming of them is having to eat them. Eating them gives us chronic disease. Chronic disease costs the whole government more money. Let's clear these fields of crops and put ruminants on there like when the buffalo roamed for millions of years.

Unless you've seen something I haven't, there is not credible evidence that this particular technology has added to the burden of chronic disease. Additionally, it is just wishcasting to think that we could replace the calories in our food system with free roaming ruminants.

I'm sorry, but walk me through how feeding people food that makes them fat, disease, type 2 diabetic, and diseased is better than sustainable ruminant agriculture? This particular technology keeps the focus on gene editing when the real focus should be on whether we eat plants.

This is all a hilarious non-sequitur. It's the equivalent of me asking a question about windmills and getting vegans jumping down my throat because they kill birds Don't be that guy
