Today’s fun stats-WTF: I read a trial with a continuous outcome variable that cited an “NNT” in their abstract. Reading the paper, they drew a line at “10% improvement” and said that 5/6 in the treated group reached this mark while none in the control group did, hence “NNT=1.4”
