The basic issue is that this was an observational trial that found a very marginal risk increase for the children of working mums in terms of BMI

TBH, it was a bit depressing that this study didn't even ~mention~ non-traditional families, aside from a vague nod in the direction that some of the mothers might've had a partner who wasn't the father (scandal)
