The basic issue is that this was an observational trial that found a very marginal risk increase for the children of working mums in terms of BMI

Even worse AS THE STUDY AUTHORS THEMSELVES NOTED one easy solution to this whole dilemma was fathers doing a bit more childcare themselves

Or, here's an idea, let's advocate for change in the food system so that unhealthy convenience foods are not easier and cheaper to access than healthy foods.
