That's a confusing statement imo because there's certainly evidence that calorie-controlled diets cause weight loss. It's diet maintenance that's the issue, and that's a problem for every diet under the sun

I appreciate you are confused, its confusing others that I am concerned about. I did not say calories don't matter, but attempts at calorie controlled diets are very poor performers in trials and macro nutrient ratios do effect metabolism.
