The thing that makes me question this is that there is at least one statement in that passage that is simply incorrect. Sildefanil citrate has been researched for any number of indications for decades since the original trials, so saying "researched ceased" is wrong
But...they ran a 4-year trial? That was funded for that length of time by NIH? Is it a pharma conspiracy if a research trial fails to complete their trial within the prespecified timeframe?
