Oh it's almost certainly misleading but as you say that's the point. Using flawed stats to make your argument just makes you wrong, even if your central point is still important

Well, so don't be seen to rely on it in a public forum, & maybe call on the Minister to release better data to professionals such as yourself? DHS totally won't do it, of course, but calling them out is still just as important as questioning work of those trying to make change.

I can see there being difficulty releasing data, death is very sensitive and can be identified if publicly released which is a big issue. Better solution would be a independent analysis from a trusted provider such as a uni prof with appropriate data governance arrangements
