Then why are you linking me to the convenience food freezer section and arguing that this is somehow cheaper? It NEVER is.

Because it is, unless, as I've said, you discount externalities to the raw ingredient costs such as time, cooking implements etc. I'm lucky enough to be able to afford the time and effort to cook most meals I eat, that's not true for a lot of people
