You fundamentally misunderstand biology. We spend billions on drugs to alter the chemical balance in people and to believe food can't have an effect is ignorant. Life is a series of chemical interactions seeking homeostasis. Please stop spreading your nonsense.
I don't think @GidMK is saying anything about chemical changes so a bit left field there. I support his concern of the impact of the information from Dr Reid on parents with ASD kids. I am constantly bombarded with info on dietary 'cures' for my son. There is no real evidence.
Not left field at all. He's implying diet can't have an effect through the cascade of chemical reactions. He's completely wrong. And if you want real evidence stay far away from nutritional "science."
Lol that's not even vaguely close to what I'm saying and a truly weird way to read my comments
So you think the behavioural issues labeled autism can be affected by the foods consumed?
Everything can be affected "by food consumed". If you eat nothing, you die, for instance
Of course, but your post clearly says food shouldn't be explored in helping those with autism. A change she demonstrates with her own daughter. The results of diet alone on the groupings of behaviors called autism is evident and worth exploring.
That's not what my post says I was addressing a fairly simple individual point about diet 'curing' autism I have no time for these tedious straw men
Yeah, I can see how seeing someone improve through a diet change would be tedious. What straw man? You said it can't help. She showed video that it helped. Are you saying this is an elaborate hoax to get views?
I clearly did not say any of that. Read the initial tweet again if you're confused
