Now, I wrote a whole blog on how protein powders were mostly not all that helpful, so these claims came as a surprise to me Let's look at what they reference them tohttps://link.medium.com/KAyMCEs0PT
On the back there's some extra advice, along with the phrase BACKED BY SCIENCE Sounds impressive!pic.twitter.com/4kZ6bM3PmI
Look a little further, you find this gem hiding away on the cornerpic.twitter.com/IgSdnZBRb5
And apparently this is what the SCIENCE comes down to A single study, on one of the many ingredients, that found a very modest improvement in one biomarker that doesn't relate to the majority of claims
So, do the claims hold up? Based on the study they hold up as evidence, not even a tiny bit
Maybe they have a raft of other literature out there demonstrating efficacy I sincerely doubt it - no other products that I've seen do - but maybe this particular one does
But realistically, it's best to be skeptical because it's very likely that there is no evidence for any of the claims made at all
They left out the 'off' part
Shoot. I had mango for lunch. It was a local one. I mean if this is what African mango EXTRACT does; imagine what a whole African mango will do?! I need to choose my mangos more wisely! Who knew?! Screw the environment and buying local. I’m gonna import some magic mangos!
