I agree totally but is it better for the earth and the farmers ? Is there any good study?

I read recently that if the United States went totally Organic two land banks each the size of the United Kingdom would have to be cleared for it. Just think of all the different animals and plants that would be lost just for that.

Pure conjecture - but I wonder if the move to organic wasn’t mostly a strategy for US/European farmers to gain a competitive advantage over lower cost farmers in South America, Caribbean Africa etc.

Or just catering to the demand? A lot of organic produce in the UK comes from outside Europe.
