For an intervention that mostly involved infrequent counseling sessions? I'd say that's very clinically significant!

In fact, I was wrong, it was a 0.4kg weight loss after 9 years. This is certainly not clinically significant. It requires at least 15kg weight loss for example to put diabetes into remission (DiRECT study)

For an intervention that was literally 4 group sessions per year? I mean, it's not a huge weight loss but really any difference is pretty big considering the intervention. In comparison, DiRECT provided total meal replacement and dozens of consults
