My most recent headache is fact-checking Dr. Jason Fung's blogs, because it's such a minefield but it seems so legitimate it's scary

Don’t you think by useless he is talking about practical significance and not statistical significance? There is a big difference.

Either way, the statement "every single study failed" is factually incorrect

Not really- “failed” is not a fact but a perception or opinion. Non-statistical significance based on certain data and methods is a fact.

? It is a factual statement. Failure is not simply an opinion, it is something that can be readily demonstrated. Also, generally 1-2kg weight loss would be considered clinically important, given the length and minimalism of the intervention

It comes down to different methods of interpreting the data. The statement is not false when you look at the end result over majority of subjects. And I would suggest that you’re taking this particular statement out of context in order to justify your latest misinforming blog.

Lol. It is a statement that is directly contradicted by the research he himself cites. You can't simply dismiss that with sophistry
If you've found a factual error in my blog, please do feel free to point it out
