Not really- “failed” is not a fact but a perception or opinion. Non-statistical significance based on certain data and methods is a fact.

? It is a factual statement. Failure is not simply an opinion, it is something that can be readily demonstrated. Also, generally 1-2kg weight loss would be considered clinically important, given the length and minimalism of the intervention
