I have read about ecoli in flour but I'm not sure there is much of a risk in the UK. I know there have been problems in the US.

The risk is product based so I would be concerned, no matter the source. Flour is a minimally processed agricultural product so the potential for pathogen contamination exists. UK health officials also warn against consumption:https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/health-42236702 …
