Chronic Lyme is generally not considered to be a plausible diagnosis. There's no evidence that people can or do have persistent infections that last after they've been successfully treated for the acute disease with antibiotics

Post-treatment Lyme disease syndrome is another story. This is the term used to describe chronic-fatigue-like symptoms that many people experience after having been treated for Lyme

So while (some) people absolutely do suffer issues after being treated for Lyme, it's almost certain that this is NOT due to an active bacterial infection
