I've got a cold and am feeling shitty, so as usual I feel like ruining things. Here's some common home remedies that are not well supported by evidence for colds: 1. Garlic 2. Ginger 3. Echinacea 4. Honey 5. Elderberry syrup 6. Saltwater gargle 7. Most other home remedies
I thought something similar, but I've been unable to find anything solid. Cochrane says may or may not but evidence is not of good quality, so I included in the list!

I have a recollection that the WHO posted something about a spoonful of honey for cough, but that could also be wishful thinking because I love honey.
