A good example, I think, is climate change The fact is that human activity is increasing the global climate. We cannot agree to disagree about that

What we CAN debate is what to DO about it Do we take action? Where do we spend our money? Do the rights of coal miners outweigh the collective impact of climate change?

Now, I have some fairly strong personal opinions on these things. The cost-benefit of, for example, moving to renewables is just too good for us to go any other way imo

What you can't do - what is simply wrong - is to deny the simple fact that humans are causing the climate to change If you speak such absurdities, then we will have a problem
