Here's the thing. We can "agree to disagree" about philosophical, ethical, moral, and even spiritual dilemmas But we can't agree to disagree about facts Facts simply are, regardless of either of our opinions
What we CAN debate is what to DO about it Do we take action? Where do we spend our money? Do the rights of coal miners outweigh the collective impact of climate change?

Now, I have some fairly strong personal opinions on these things. The cost-benefit of, for example, moving to renewables is just too good for us to go any other way imo

BUT these are subjects we can discuss. You could argue that coal is essential to our economy and getting rid of it will literally kill people

What you can't do - what is simply wrong - is to deny the simple fact that humans are causing the climate to change If you speak such absurdities, then we will have a problem
