Whether or not you support lockout laws to me seems mostly to depend on what you see as more important For doctors/police who are the main proponents of the laws, reducing deaths/injury is highest For young people, it's often more about having a vibrant nightlife
Balancing these needs is tricky, and I'm not sure the lockouts do it in the best way possible That being said, you don't help an argument by ignoring data
