There was a statistically (p<0.05) but likely not clinically significant improvement in loneliness scores from limiting social media use. This was replicated in a very dubious sub-group analysis using 4 groups in a sample of 111 for depression scores

I would also say that this study is amazingly badly written-up. I'm frankly surprised it got published. No baseline characteristics, no stats in methods, don't even have the sample size for the analysis group, just the recruitment
