My new piece on That Phone Cancer Scare Bottom line? Unless you're a lab rat living in a radiation chamber, phones are unlikely to be harmful to your healthhttps://medium.com/@gidmk/mobile-phones-still-dont-cause-cancer-10018ba22e36 …

Not only that, but rodents exposed to mobile phone radiation actually lived longer than the ones that didn't They got more cancer, by a little bit, but had significantly longer lives

The increase in risk was also quite small, and only in fairly rare cancers, which means that the applicability to humans is limited

As well as all of this, when we look at studies in people, there doesn't appear to be any link between mobile phones and cancer at allpic.twitter.com/kv5W4XngIp

Do mobile phones cause cancer? Almost certainly not Can the type of radiation that mobile phones produce cause cancer in sufficient doses? The jury is still out, but this study suggests it is possible

But it's important to remember that THE DOSE IS KEY The radiation from bananas definitely causes cancer, but it's produced in such minute doses that it is not a problem for us at all

If you want to know more, it's in the blog above^^

P.s. I should mention that mobile phones definitely do cause harm, just not cancer. Incidents of vehicle crashes caused by mobile phone use are a serious problem, don't text and drive!
